MESERANI SNAKE PARK [ZOO]

Originally a campsite set up on dry, arid scrubland just outside Arusha city /town by a couple from South Africa. It has developed into quiet amazing compound offering so much for local and international visitors alike -Meserani Snake Park cultural zoo is set 25km west of Arusha town along Arusha-Dodoma road -Barry and Lynn bale bought the land back in 1993 and through careful planting of different species of trees both exotic and indigenous and other vegetation and much hard work they have developed it into what can only be described as a true oasis in the desert. The park offers a number of activities to visitors, including guided tours of the snake park itself and learning about some of the most deadly and extremely venomous snakes -within the compound there is
A CAMPSITE.
-Meserani Snake Park harbors a campsite which is used mostly by independent travelers and overland truck group. This campsite is among the favorite campsite of any group that they take to east Africa, locals, students, internationals and many more
